Lost in Middle Earth

Basic Info BioThis journal won't be updated much as it's only purpose is to enable me to participate and let people know something about me.
I am a nearly forty-year-old Tolkien lover, who's first introduction to Middle Earth took place over twenty years ago. I appreciate most of what Peter Jackson did with the Lord of the Rings and actually I did watch Fellowship of the Ring more than thirty times in the cinema. (Yes, I know...). One of my year's highlights is the RingCon in Germany every autumn which I attend since 2003.
I especially enjoy reading ALL KIND OF Tolkien related fanfiction.
As more and more fanfiction journals become friends-locked - a course of action I perfectly understand considering developments in the recent past - I decided to finally take a slightly more active part in the livejournal community. I've been around enjoying all kind of fanfiction stories immensely for quite a while now. It's high time to change from just lurking to commenting and letting all the authors know that I appreciate their works.
So I do hope, that some of you will be kind enough to let me join so that I might be able to enjoy even more of your stories.
